She
is a friend of mind.  She gather me, man.  The pieces I am,
she gather them and give them back to me in all the right order.
It’s good, you know, when you got a woman who is a friend of your mind.

They
say that advice is what you ask for when you already know the answer
but wish you didn’t.  Thank you to the friends of my mind for
gathering my pieces and putting them in order for me.  Your words
have touched me, and I feel blessed to know you.

  1. Well, I’m only going back now to read through those, but I feel blessed to know you, too. Especially since you’re the only one from Xanga (other than the person who introduced me to WP) who has yet to comment on my new blog. Thank you

  2. Been thinking about you lots….thank you so much for the words of support regarding my little niece….her parents hope so much for the day that she, like your sister…can have the shunt removed…she is recovering so quickly…amazes me.  I am sharing in your excitement for your new fridge….new appliances are second only to a new car in my book, lol….isn’t water in the door cool!  I am trying to sneak off with some of your Bob Greene motivation….I have none…this is not good, lol….and how AWESOME that you can afford to do something for yourself that will make you happy and feel as beautiful as you already are!  Isn’t flylady cool….I joined a while back to help me “stay on track”,lol…I am constantly putting out fires in my hotspots, lol…you’d think my house would’ve burned down by now.  Hope things are going in a good direction for you…..leaving you lots of hugs and thoughts my friend. ~ Laura

  3. You ARE a friend of my mind. And then you crept into my heart. Sneaky and quiet, I looked up and there you were, a piece of me I didn’t know I was missing. I’m grateful that we found each other.
