Quickie update:
- now entering Week 3 of jury duty …

- just got back from a quick trip to San Simeon … it was lovely; Hearst Castle is amazing, even on the third visit
- new A/C installed and I’m $3,000 poorer
- eagerly awaiting the arrival of my copy of the final Harry Potter book
- fighting a huge headache brought on by trying to play microscopic solitaire on the iPod in the car … hence the brief entry

Quote of the Day:
When you go into court, you
are putting your fate into the hands of twelve people who weren’t smart
enough to get out of jury duty. ~Norm Crosby

that castle looks amazing!! hope you make it through jury duty!
wow! week 3? hmm……hang in there.
Wasn’t Citizen Kane based on WRH? From the looks of that place, it was a pretty authentic depiction…
I have to say, after my visit to San Diego, that I see why people live in SoCal. Even if it’s friggin’ EXPENSIVE. In La Jolla we saw a 1-bdrm. apartment for rent– only $1550/month! What a bargain! For that monthly payment, you could have a 4-5 bedroom house here, and Denver’s not cheap by any means. But I honestly don’t see how teachers afford to live where they work.
Jury duty still ongoing?
I’ll have a new post here (on Xanga) soon– hopefully today.
I’m sorry about the jury duty…it’ll be over soon, though!! I also empathize with being in debt, although I have yet to own/pay for a house or my own a/c! (However, I’m sure I’ll tackle that soon enough .) The tour at that castle sounds amazing…I love historical architecture like that, too.Oh, oh…and stop by to see my new layout(even though I loved my glittery one that you commented on). It will make you smile!X-D… Erin
